What can I expect?
Join us for Easter services on Sunday, April 20th at 435 Hammonds Plains Rd in Bedford (We'll be meeting in the Sandy Lake Academy school). We will have two worship gatherings for you to choose from—one at 9:15am and one at 11:00am. Please feel free to arrive a few minutes early to ensure a parking spot, find a seat, and enjoy a cup of coffee provided by Cortado Tasting Room. During the 75'ish minute worship gathering we will spend time singing together in worship, hearing a message from the Bible, and even celebrating baptism with several people who are publicly declaring their faith in Jesus.
During our Easter message, we will discover that the life we long for is only found in Jesus. Jesus’ message to us even in the midst of our brokenness, confusion, pain, and searching is that he gives us the abundant life. There are a lot of things that promise the abundant life in this world. Your bank account. Your career. Your relationships. Your hobbies. And on and on the list goes. But there’s only one person who can actually deliver. Jesus. But Jesus didn’t simply point us to the abundant life—he went to the cross and died in your place and then rose from the dead to bring you there. Come and hear more of Jesus’ message of hope and discover how he can change your entire life.

At Port City, we strive to provide radical hospitality to every person who comes through our doors. We know it can be super intimidating when you go to a new place or meet new people so it's our goal to create a welcoming environment for each person who attends. Whether you’re skeptical and unsure about your faith, curious and exploring your faith, or already a Christian but seeking a local church home, we believe Port City is the place for you.
What if I have children?
If you have children ages infant through grade three there will be a children's program provided for them during the Easter worship gathering. Please plan to arrive by fifteen minutes early to check in your child. All of our kids ministry volunteers will be trained, background checked, and ready to welcome your little ones! Your child will spend time learning from God's Word, singing, playing with friends, and of course… eating goldfish. If you have children in grade four or above they will sit with you in the gathering but we will provide an activity sheet that follows along with the message to help them enjoy their time.

Port City meets in a school so there is plenty of parking. Our parking team will guide you in and make sure you quickly find a spot!
