Pray

We believe that prayer is not a last resort but a practice of first priority for the follower of Jesus. Jesus Himself consistently modeled a life of prayer with His Father (Mark 1:35) and taught His followers how to pray (Luke 11:1-4). He reminded His people that the church was to be a "house of prayer for all nations" (Matthew 21:13). Thus, prayer is a foundational component to our everyday lives. It is in vulnerability before God that we can lift all things to Him and be met with rest, comfort, and peace – knowing that He is in control over all things.

Here are the ways that you can prayer along with us or receive prayer from us:

• Fill in a red "Prayer Card" at the Connect Table on Sundays and drop it in the cards box.

• Subscribe to our monthly prayer newsletter.

• Email prayer@portcitychurch.ca to let us know how our pastoral team can be praying for you.

• Join a Port City Group where you will pray weekly with others.
