"The fastest way to beat debt and build wealth"
~ Dave Ramsey

At Port City we believe that everything we have comes from God, including our finances. Yet as Christians we tend to keep that area of our life private from others and often from God. The Bible calls us as Christians to be radically generous with our money, for all that we have is from Him! But how can we be generous when it feels like we live paycheque to paycheque, paying off credit card debt, making bill payments, and barely making ends meet.

Financial Peace University is a 9-session class to help you get out of debt, stay there, build wealth and give and live like no one else! This course is built on biblical principles and the proven Dave Ramsey “Baby Steps” that have helped millions of people learn how to manage their finances in a healthy biblical way.

We invite you on this 9-week journey as we gather as a group, watch the lessons, share stories, give counsel, tips and pray that Jesus would be the King of our entire lives, even our bank accounts.

Course Considerations

  • This course is nine weeks long and it is expected that you attend all nine sessions. Please consider this level of commitment before signing up. Take the time to review the course dates listed below to ensure they work with your personal schedule.
  • Since a portion of this course runs through our “groups” semester - it is encouraged to make this course a priority over group attendance for these nine weeks. Ie. You might need to step out of ‘group’ for these weeks to commit to the course sessions on Wednesday nights.
  • If you are married, we strongly encourage you as a couple to BOTH attend the course. Singles are of course welcome and encouraged to attend also.
  • Unfortunately this class is only available to 20 students on a first come, first served basis. So please consider the commitment level before registration.
