The end of the book of Acts is not a conclusion, it's an invitation. It’s a “to be continued” and the way that this continues is through you and me. Yes, the book of Acts might be finished but the mission assigned to the church and to every follower of Jesus is not. “To be continued” allows us to enter into the story… not simply as spectators of things that happened back then but of God’s mission that we participate in NOW.

What Paul began here in Acts we continue as we fulfill the mission of God in our life. This is what it means when we talk about living a “sent” life.
