Where do we find our worth, confidence, and joy? In Philippians 3:1-11, Paul reminds us that lasting joy is found not in our accomplishments, performance, or circumstances, but in the surpassing worth of knowing Jesus Christ. Through faith in Him, we receive a righteousness we could never earn, a new identity, and the hope of eternal life.

The Christian life is not about moving beyond Jesus, but growing deeper in our knowledge and love of Him. True joy grows as we stop looking to ourselves for what only Christ can provide and increasingly treasure Him above everything else.
