Ecclesiastes 12:1-14
The end of the matter. After a life of experimenting with work, pleasure, possessions, power and an assortment of other things under the sun, Solomon reaches his final conclusion: fear God and obey His commands. That’s it. That’s the key to understanding and living a hope-filled purposeful life. But fearing God and following Him is more than just trying hard everyday to obey His commands. It’s living into the truth of what Christ did for us and recognizing what we couldn’t do for ourselves.
